Flat slat mounting plaques are a great alternative for a wide range or plants including Vanda as well as most other Epiptytic Orchids, Air Plants, Bromeliads, Stag Horn Ferns. Provides superior air circulation for Orchids. Use your imagination and experiment. About 1.5" thick.
Wood flat slatted mounting plaques are imported and sold as tropical hard/rot resistant wood. Most are cedar. There are many different types of cedar. All are rot resistant but not all are the same color. Color can range from brown-red to almost white.
