Hermle 8" Norfolk Ship's Bell Clock (Quartz)

The Norfolk is an 8" brass ship's bell clock with 8-day striking movement and a quartz movement. It's manufactured by Hermle Black Forest Clocks in Germany, and is constructed out of polished solid brass with a protective coating. The Quartz movement has an authentic bell tone and takes a C-Cell battery. The back flange has 4 pre-drilled mounting holes. The ship's bell strikes in 30 minute increments over a 4 hour "watch" period. Nautical Bell Schedule: 12:00, 4:00, 8:00 = 8 Bell Strikes; 12:30, 4:30, 8:30 = 1 Bell Strike; 1:00, 5:00, 9:00 = 2 Bell Strikes; 1:30, 5:30, 9:30 = 3 Bell Strikes. Please allow 24 hours for your bell strike schedule to synchronize itself when batteries are installed and the clock is set.
