Product Description
Out-Grow has simplified mushroom cultivation even further for you. Yes it is simpler, costs less, and is easier to work with then traditional half pint mason jars containing the same mix. These bags contain 8 ounces of pure mushroom substrate, which is much more than others sellers use in half pint jars. No extra layer of vermiculite needed like standard PF Tek jars, so you get more substrate!
Simply inoculate the bag with 2-4 cc of your gourmet mushroom spore solution or 5-8 cc of liquid culture, and let it grow!
Out-Grow's Brown Rice Flour mushroom substrate mix is 100% sterilized and ready to use at your front door. The substrate has a light consistency after it is broken up that is very easy for mycelium to colonize. This mushroom substrate is enhanced with all necessary nutrients and moisture needed for healthy, large fruits. The substrate contains vermiculite, brown rice flour, multigrain flour and gypsum.
There is no fragile heavy glass jars to ship so our shipping and production cost is much lower than jars. Our bags have a 0.5 micron filter patch for proper gas exchange while keeping contaminates out.
You can fruit in vitro in the bag or in a fruiting chamber as you would a standard substrate cake. Fully colonized brf bags can also be used as a spawn or for grain to grain transfers to expand your mycelium. Nothing could be easier. Just inoculate and wait. For larger grows, the BRF bags can also be used as spawn for a bulk substrate. Normally from inoculation to fruiting is around 4-5 weeks. This mushroom substrate is one of the finest available. These bags are suited for beginner and advanced mycologists.
