This BAFX Products® Wind Speed Anemometer is a great tool for many activities from sailing/boating, windsurfing, weather watching to air management system operations.

This tiny air speed meter is packed with a number of features. It can read in wind speed in MPH, Km/h, Knots, Ft/min & M/s. The air speed readings have accuracy of +/-5% It also reads the current temperature in either °C or °F. It can also be set to read and display only the MAX wind speed or the Average wind speed over a period of time. If the temperature drops below 32°F (or 0°C) it will read the wind-chill temperature based on the wind speed rating! It can read temperatures from 14°F to 113°F. It also features a back-lit display screen which stays on for 12 seconds and turns back on when a button is pressed. It will also auto-shutoff after 14 minutes. Along the side and top of the display is a Beaufort scale!

Where is the power button? Press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds and the unit will power on. Press the power and set button at the same time and it will power off.
