The MAXSA Solar-Powered Floodlight has 12 super-bright LEDs that automatically turn on at dusk. Includes 3 rechargeable NiMH batteries, solar charging panel, and a 10-foot cable. Light stays bright for 5 hours at full power setting, or up to 10 hours in power-saving setting. Metal body. Black finish. Flag or post mount bracket included so the light may be attached directly to a post or flagpole. IP44 weatherproof rating.

No Electricity

This floodlight uses free energy from the sun. The included solar panel collects the sun’s energy and stores it inside the powerful rechargeable batteries (included) so you have power to shine light on your sign, landscape, or flag all night long. Complete with a 10 foot cable, the 150x150 mm solar panel can be positioned to receive the most sunlight. The solar panel has an adjustable base so it can be used on both flat and angled locations. It can also be affixed to the top of the light itself.

The durable, adjustable, metal housing lasts for years and years. The floodlight's durable construction with sealed lens is totally weatherproof and has an IP44 weather rating.

Works All Night Long

This light can last for 5 hours at full power or 10 hours at half power so you can have light all night long. In the summer when days are longer, you can use the maximum brightness and in the winter when days are shorter, you can set the light at half power to provide light for twice as long. Two buttons let you turn the light on and off and set the power to full or half power. Once the light is on, it is controlled by the photo-sensor, which will automatically activate the light when it gets dark out and keep the light on all night.

Q: Can I put my solar panel anywhere?

A: Your solar panel can be attached to the light or be separately mounted up to 10 ft away. The panel needs to be placed outside in a sunny area and needs to face the southern sky. If it is in the shade it will still charge, but not as well as in the sun. If it is behind glass, it may not charge properly.

Q: How do I install it?

A: The main light is installed using two screws and the solar panel is installed using two to three screws. You may need to pre-drill the holes for the screws, depending on the mounting surface. You also have the option to attach the solar panel to the light itself using the two protruding bolts on the side of the light. Another mounting option is to mount the light to a post or flagpole. You can do this using the included pole-mount bracket

Q: What if the power cord isn’t long enough to suit my needs?

A: 15 foot extension cords are available from MAXSA Innovations. You can connect more than one if you need to; however it is recommended that no more than three are used.

Q: How long will the light stay on?

A: When the batteries are fully charged, the light will turn on at dusk and stay on until the sun rises or the batteries run out of power, whichever comes first. There are two power settings on this light: full power and half power. When fully charged, the light will last for roughly 5 hours on full power or 10 hours on half power.

Q: What type of batteries does it use and how long do they last?

A: This light uses 3 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. They should last at least 3 years, depending on use. When it is time to replace the batteries, you can find replacements from most battery retailers or from MAXSA Innovations.

Q: How long does my light need to charge before I can turn it on?

A: Your light should arrive with some amount of charge so it can usually be used right out of the box, however we recommend you do an initial charge of three days with the solar panel connected and the light OFF to ensure a full charge. After that, you can click the power button to turn the light ON. It should charge enough during the day to last through every night.

Q: Will the light stay on all night long?

A: This is a dusk-to-dawn light and will stay on as long as it is dark and the batteries have power. It will last for 5 hours on full power or 10 hours on half power.

Q: Will the light continue to work in extreme weather conditions?

A: The light works best between temperatures of 20°F and 120°F. If it’s colder than 20°F, the battery may not function as well, however it will resume normal function once it warms up. The light is designed to withstand normal dirt and water exposure as well, but may be damaged by hurricanes and cannot be submerged in water.
