The Maverick Sun 1000 watt MH Metal Halide Steel Ballast utilizes the same high quality components as our premium aluminum ballast. This ballast uses a very well ventilated steel case to reduce cost. This is the perfect ballast for a cost conscience grower that is not concerned with ballast weight but will get excellent performance at a competitive price. The ballast comes with a 120 volt power cord but can use an optional (sold separately) 240 volt power cord as well.
