Product Description
50 Common Milkweed seed balls made in our Pennsylvania workshop with 2014 seed crop. Seed balls are about 1/2" diameter and average 2-3 seeds per ball, assuring good germination, but not overcrowding and stressing the seedlings. Common Milkweed is a primary food source for the Monarch Butterfly. As with so many perennial seeds, it requires cold stratification or a cold season to trigger germination. You can sow any time of year, though.
